How Do I Get Paid?
SellTheSpot charges 0% platform fee. You keep 100% of the money. Sponsors pay you directly through your preferred payment provider.
The Sponsorship Payment Lifecycle
Clear, direct, and straightforward. Here is exactly how funds move from sponsor to creator.
Brand discovers your physical listing and selects an available spot.
Brand submits their logo, company name, and website for your review.
You review the brand. If it fits your physical object, you accept the request.
The brand completes direct payment via your attached payment link.
You apply the sticker/branding on your item and the spot becomes Active.
Creating your direct payment link
Creators use their own payment processor. You generate a standalone payment link, set the exact spot price, and paste the URL into your SellTheSpot listing.
- Create a Payment Link in your Stripe, Dodo, Wise, Polar, or PayPal account.
- Set the Fixed Amount to match the exact price displayed on your SellTheSpot spot (e.g., $50).
- Copy the Checkout URL (must begin with
https://). - Paste into SellTheSpot during Step 5 of the creator listing flow.
The payment amount configured on your payment provider must match the exact price displayed on your SellTheSpot listing. Mismatches will cause delays in sponsor approval.
