1. Fundamental Privacy Promise
At SellTheSpot, we believe privacy is foundational. We do not sell your personal data, we do not run intrusive tracking pixels or behavioural ad networks, and we never expose sensitive authentication details publicly.
2. Creator Identity & Public Profiles
When you create an account on SellTheSpot:
- Public Information: Your display name, public username (e.g.
@alex), profile avatar, bio, location, and social links are publicly visible on your creator storefront. - Private Information: Your email address, OAuth provider account IDs, and internal identifiers are strictly confidential and are never displayed publicly on your profile, listings, or client payloads.
- Authentication Badges: We display honest provider connections (e.g.,
✓ X connected) to demonstrate authenticity without exposing private account tokens.
3. Sponsor Submission Privacy
When a brand or sponsor submits an inquiry for a sponsorship spot, their brand name, logo image, and target website are forwarded to the Creator for review. We do not distribute your company details to third-party marketing lists.
4. Payment Data Confidentiality
Because SellTheSpot does not process payments, we never collect or store your credit card numbers, bank routing numbers, or CVVs. When you click a payment link, you interact directly with the creator's payment gateway (Stripe, Dodo Payments, Wise, Polar, or PayPal) governed by their respective privacy policies.
5. Local Storage & Cookies
We use browser localStorage to store your creator session and listing drafts on your local device. We do not use third-party cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data Deletion & Updates
You can remove your listings, update your bio, or delete your creator account at any time through the Creator Studio or by contacting our team at hukambuild@gmail.com.
